About Geoff McKernan

Geoff McKernan is Director of Operations for The AMM Team as well as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. As Director of Operations, he is known for his astute attention to detail, communication, and ingenuity. He manages day-to-day operations for The AMM Team who brokered $115 million in closed volume in 2022. They have ranked consistently among the top 10 teams across Sotheby's International Realty nationwide and have been repeatedly recognized by REAL Trends America's Best as being in the top 0.5% of sales agents in the U.S. Geoff ensures all team members and their clients are fully supported. He brings his marketing expertise, negotiation skills, and organized focus to every transaction. These qualities, combined with the global network and reach of Sotheby's International Realty, allow Geoff to provide unparalleled real estate advisory.

Prior to real estate, Geoff worked in marketing communications and strategic partnerships for financial services firms AIG and New York Life. During that time, Geoff consistently honed his professionalism, sense of integrity and discretion. These traits, along with his genuine interest in New York City residential real-estate, led to a seamless transition into the business. Throughout the past decade, Geoff has lived in several neighborhoods including Chelsea, Tribeca, and the Upper East Side. He completed an extensive renovation on his own prewar cooperative in Lenox Hill. Armed with critical renovation knowledge as well as expertise in a multitude of residential neighborhoods throughout Manhattan, Geoff’s drive and dedication add meaningful value for buyers and sellers.

Raised in the Philadelphia suburbs, Geoff is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The George Washington University. In addition to his undergraduate studies, Geoff also completed an Art Business graduate program at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York City. A resident of the Upper East Side, Geoff is an active member of the Central Park Conservancy’s Greensward Circle as well as the Apollo Circle at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
